![]() Blizzard Entertainment has announced that players in most parts of the world will be able to join the fight against the Burning Hells in Diablo Immortal, the first Blizzard game built from the ground up for mobile, starting June 2, with the rest of Asia-Pacific following a few weeks later. The Worldstone has been shattered, and the heroes of Sanctuary must now fight the horrors that have arisen in its wake. ![]() “While there will not be many behaviors custom tailored for desktop, and some menu interactions may resemble their mobile counterparts, we made sure to include hotkeys for all major functions, eliminating the need to manually click each function.Diablo Immortal will be released on June 2, 2022! They did make one final comment on the interface though: Diablo Immortal was built as a mobile game first, so the PC user interface is going to have a similar feel, however they have shrunk the portrait, mini map, top-level menu buttons, and ability icons to a comfortable size. On one hand, we felt that we wouldn’t be doing the title justice by releasing a game originally designed for mobile on PC on the other hand, we wanted to make sure the game reached as many players as possible-especially our most dedicated PC fans.”Ĭontrol-wise, Blizzard said that along with the standard “left-click to move” controls, they have also added WASD movement, the ability to rebind keys, as well as controller support. “The decision to develop Diablo Immortal for PC was one that the team went back and forth on for a large part of the development process.
